Curtis joined the company in 1999 as a conservation assistant.
He operates high pressure water cleaning equipment, acts as an assistant metalworker, and assistant to architectural, sculptural and monument conservation projects. This includes application of industrial coatings, welding, bronze patination, and general masonry application.
In addition, as general shop manager, Curtis is responsible for care and maintenance of facilities and equipment.
(Above) Curtis is using our JOS water and microabrasive nozzle and related JOS equipment to remove hard crusts of minerals from a bronze fountain bowl that will be re-polished and re-patinated, a bowl we removed from the Federal New Executive Office Building in Washington, DC.
